Job summary

KnitWell Group, a specialty retail operating company, is seeking a Sales Lead for its West Des Moines location. You will partner with store leaders to supervise the team, exemplify brand standards, and foster a welcoming, customer-centered environment that reflects our hospitality culture.

Responsibilities include assisting with opening/closing, coaching team members, managing scheduling, inventory, and merchandise replenishment, and driving sales with strong product knowledge and omni-channel

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, operate the register, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening/closing.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor; share product knowledge and use an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations such as cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling when needed.
• Collaborate with store leadership and peers to drive results.
