Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead in Lafayette, LA to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and model exceptional customer service. You will drive brand standards and deliver personalized shopping experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

The role focuses on coaching, operations, and omni-channel support, including cash handling, scheduling, and inventory. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in retail management and a passion for empowering customers.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening and closing.
Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
Lead by example on the sales floor and share product knowledge.
Provide coaching to keep the team on track with goals.
Handle cash, scheduling, inventory, and merchandise replenishment.
Support scheduling and contribute ideas to leadership.
