Job summary

KnitWell Group's Soma store in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Sales Lead to supervise the team, uphold brand standards, and model hospitality on the floor. You will drive a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to reflect our culture of service.

You will coach staff, manage operations like opening/closing, scheduling, and inventory, and partner with store leadership to achieve performance goals while delivering memorable shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and scheduling support to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
