Job summary

Soma in Brea, CA is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and model exceptional customer service. You will drive brand standards, coach team members, and support omni-channel selling to create memorable experiences beyond transactions.

The role requires 2 years of retail management experience (preferred), strong communication, and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation includes benefits and growth opportunities within Soma.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
