Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. in Knoxville is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and model brand standards. You will drive a welcoming, customer-centered environment and support leadership responsibilities as needed to meet goals.

You will coach and develop associates, oversee operations like opening/closing, scheduling, inventory, and cash handling, while communicating brand priorities and ensuring exceptional service that reflects our hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
