Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders and supervise the team at our Costa Mesa location. You will model customer‑centered service, coach associates, and ensure brand standards while driving sales and guest experiences.

In this role you will manage daily store operations, communicate priorities, and lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge. A collaborative, hospitality‑driven culture is central to success.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and feedback, and assist with scheduling when needed.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
