Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Must be at least 18 years old to sell tobacco, lottery products and alcohol.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow security and emergency protocols.

Responsibilities

• Present a well-groomed, professional image at all times.
• Greet and welcome customers with a smile and assist with locating products.
• Upsell related products whenever appropriate.
• Record all sales on the cash register and provide correct change.
• Understand and follow all approved payment systems and transaction processes.
• Adhere to state laws regarding tobacco, lottery, and alcohol sales.
• Promote enrollment in loyalty programs and monitor store safety.
