Job summary

Johnson Brothers is seeking a Sales Consultant to service retail stores across an established territory. You will manage selling, servicing, merchandising, and administration while maintaining up-to-date accounts receivable.

Responsibilities include making effective sales presentations, expanding the customer base, and ensuring consistent contact with clients. A BA/BS or equivalent experience, route sales background, and a valid driver’s license are highly valued.

Qualifications

• BA/BS college degree or related industry experience.
• Prior route sales experience (highly preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goals and results driven.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).

Responsibilities

• Make effective sales presentations.
• Territory Management: ensure consistent customer contact; plan and execute sales initiatives; handle customer issues promptly and friendly.
• Selling: understand products and pricing; identify and nurture new accounts; achieve company objectives.
• Merchandising: use POS to enhance selling; optimize display size, location, shelf position and standards.
• Servicing: conduct sales calls, perform inventory checks, minimize order mistakes; rotate products properly.
• Administration: adhere to company policies; handle paperwork properly.
