Floor & Decor in California is seeking a Sales Associate to provide friendly, accurate service and assist customers with building projects. The role supports a fast-paced, safety-conscious sales floor, with full-time and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities include engaging customers, maintaining stock, processing transactions, and collaborating with the team to hit sales goals while upholding company values and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires drug test.

Responsabilités

• Connect with customers, ask about projects, recommend products and excite customers about purchases.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs; stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act in line with the company’s core values and safety processes.
• Answer telephone according to guidelines.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
