Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Sales Associate to provide friendly, accurate service and help customers complete their projects on the sales floor. Full-time and part-time roles are available, with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

You will engage customers, recommend products, maintain clean, safe aisles, and process transactions at the register. The job requires strong communication, teamwork, and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Where permissible by state law, heavy equipment certification may require a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, learn about projects, and recommend products.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed expectations.
• Maintain in-stock areas, keep clean, shoppable and safe.
• Process checkout using POS system.
• Handle refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit procedures.
• Tag and stock merchandise; create price signs.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
