Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to help customers on the sales floor. You will greet customers, answer questions, recommend products, and assist with checkout using our POS system. This role supports a fast-paced, safe store environment and may be full-time or part-time.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
• Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs. Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
