New Balance is seeking Retail Sale Associates in Austin, TX. You will deliver exceptional customer service, assist customers with product selection, and help close sales while maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, understanding needs, educating on features, and supporting promotions. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Past retail experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand long periods, and move boxes of product.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Greet customers and understand their needs.
• Educate customers on product features and benefits.
• Assist with closing the sale and suggestive selling.
• Measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product.
• Inform customers about promotions and keep the floor neat and well stocked.
• Label items properly and monitor security tag attachments and shrinkage.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents.
