Job summary

Michaels Stores in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Store Associate for the CIN-EASTGATE location. You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You’ll engage shoppers with the Michaels Rewards program, assist with BOPIS and SFS, and help unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain planograms. This role supports store recovery, safety programs, and SOP compliance.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Basic cash handling and POS familiarity helpful.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with proper cash handling.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and enroll customers in Private Label Credit Card programs.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) execution.
• Complete merchandise recovery and returns processes; keep store well-merchandised and in-stock.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Assist shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact with customers and team members professionally, reflecting Michaels values.
