Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver a memorable shopping experience and expert product knowledge in a fast-paced specialty retail environment.

You will help customers with services like gift wrap, registry, catalogs, and furniture orders while maintaining store presentation and meeting daily sales goals. The role requires 1-2 years of customer service retail experience and open weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years customer service and retail sales experience; specialty retail preferred, but not required.
• Full-time associates are expected to have open availability to meet business needs.
• Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two weekend shifts and two weekdays; 20+ hours weekly with greater availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service exemplifying World-Class standards.
• Achieve sales and contest goals; maintain knowledge of current promotions.
• Assist customers with gift wrap, registry, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, and furniture orders.
• Utilize selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, including features and benefits.
• Operate POS system for sales, returns and exchanges.
• Maintain visual merchandising, signage and lighting; uphold store cleanliness and stockroom upkeep.
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise; perform other duties as assigned by management.
