Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge in a fast-paced specialty retail environment. You will drive sales, assist with services like gift registry and orders, and maintain visual presentation on the floor.

The role requires 1-2 years of customer service and retail experience, with the ability to work in a team or independently. Full-time schedule and weekend availability are typical, with a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• 1-2 years customer service experience and retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred, but not required)
• Love to sell and exceed selling goals with ability to close a sale
• Succeed in a team environment, while able to work independently and manage your own time

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service by exemplifying World-Class service standards
• Achieve established sales and contest goals; maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, gift registry, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders
• Utilize selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity
• Demonstrate product knowledge including features and benefits
• Operate POS register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges)
• Maintain visual merchandise presentation, signage and lighting
• Keep store and stockroom organized and clean
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Comply with Company policies and procedures
