You will greet customers, ring transactions, manage the register, and support merchandising and loss-prevention efforts. Flexibility for nights and weekends is required, with a professional appearance and customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processing freight.
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances the register according to company policy.
• Call out prices for customers during checkout.
• Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions.
• Handles cash, checks and credit cards correctly per policy.
• Get management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provide proper customer service: greet, assist with fitting rooms, ring up, thank and invite return.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Keep a professional, neat appearance with name tag.
• Assist management in merchandising sales floor per stock level.
• Assist with tasks as requested per company policy.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers post-transaction.
• Assist Store Manager with Loss Prevention: prevent shoplifting and cash losses; report incidents.
