Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. This role involves processing freight, assisting with price changes, and maintaining register accuracy while delivering excellent customer service.

You will greet customers, explain exchange policies, handle payments, and assist management with merchandising and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).

Responsibilities

• Process freight and assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance cash register according to company policy and handle transactions.
• Call out prices during checkout and bag merchandise efficiently.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers.
• Assist with merchandising on the sales floor and stock management.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and professional appearance including wearing a name tag.
• Assist Store Manager with loss prevention and reporting incidents of theft.
