Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. This role involves processing freight, assisting with price changes and markdowns, and balancing the register according to policy.

You will provide friendly customer service, handle transactions, and assist with merchandising and shop-floor upkeep, while explaining exchange policies and supporting loss prevention efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Processing freight.
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns.
• Balancing register per company policy.
• Calling out prices for customers at checkout.
• Bagging merchandise efficiently during transactions.
• Handling cash, checks and cards correctly per policy.
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties.
• Providing customer service and greeting customers.
• Following safety procedures and wearing a name tag.
• Assisting management in merchandising on the sales floor.
• Assisting with tasks per company policy.
• Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers.
• Supporting Loss Prevention procedures and reporting incidents.
