New Balance is seeking Retail Sales Associates to ensure smooth store operations and deliver exemplary customer service in a Southpark, NC location. You will use expert product knowledge and the GUEST service model to assist customers throughout the purchase process, educate on features, and close sales.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model: greet and contact customers, understand needs, educate on features, solve questions, close sales.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product.
• Inform customers about promotions.
• Keep the floor neat, organized, and well stocked; ensure items are labeled and priced properly.
• Protect products by greeting customers, monitoring floor merchandise, and reporting shrinkage and security issues.
• Follow safety regulations including lifting procedures and timely reporting of accidents.
