Job summary

AbleLight in Eau Claire, WI is seeking Sales Associates to deliver fast, friendly service to customers and donors. You will operate the cash register, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, accessible store and donation center.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 40 lbs, and willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends. The position offers retirement plan, store discount, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis and stand on feet for up to eight hours.
• Able to carry items up and down stairs as needed.
• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operates cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Assists in stocking sales floor, stock rotation, displays and organization of merchandise.
• Responsible for answering telephone in professional manner.
• Sorts and prices merchandise according to quality and pricing guidelines.
• Transfers merchandise from donor vehicle to building and offers tax receipts to every donor.
• Keeps inside and outside of donation center and store organized and clean.
• Actively participates and supports raising funds for the AbleLight charity through round ups at the register, and other events initiated by AbleLight.
• Other duties as assigned.

Associates assist in production and donations, and work diligently to keep the store clean, safe and accessible to our customers.
