Job summary

AbleLight is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to provide fast, friendly service to customers and donors in our store. You will operate the register, assist donors with donations, issue tax receipts, and help keep the sales floor welcoming, clean, and organized.

Qualifications

• Must be 14+ years old.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Stand on your feet for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Answer and respond to telephone customers in professional manner.
• Assist donors with their donations: Transfer merchandise from donor vehicle to building and offers tax receipts to every donor. Keeps inside and outside of donation center organized and clean.
• Assist in stocking sales floor, stock rotation, displays and organization of merchandise.
• Actively participate and support raising funds for the AbleLight charity through "round ups" at the register and other events initiated by AbleLight.
