Job summary

Golden Nugget Atlantic City is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to assist guests in selecting products and drive sales through engaging service. You will greet customers, share product knowledge, and respond to inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized retail space, handling POS transactions, and verifying IDs for comps. A high school diploma and retail/cashier experience are preferred; CER license may be required upon hire;

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• At least one year of retail experience including cashiering.
• Must have or be able to obtain Casino Employee Registration (CER) license upon hire.
• Good verbal and written communications skills required.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales through engagement of customers.
• Greets and receives customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Maintains the retail space clean and organized in coordination with coworkers and management.
• Maintains products on the sales floor and fills backstock during shift.
• Operates a point-of-sale register and handles payments (credit cards, cash, comps).

Responsibilities

• Drives sales through engagement of customers,
• Greets and receives customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Working with fellow co-workers and management to keep retail space clean and always organized.
• Maintain product on sales floor and filling backstock throughout assigned shift.
• Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of retail items.
• Verifying identity of customers when using comps as a form of payment for retail items.
• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma

• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent customer service skills preferred
• Ability to stand extended periods of time.

Pay Range

USD $15.92 - USD $15.92 /Hr.
