Job summary

Jersey Hired is seeking aRetail Sales Associate to help customers choose products and drive sales through engagement and product knowledge. You will greet customers, respond to inquiries, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

The role requires at least one year of retail experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain a Casino Employee Registration license. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of retail experience including cashiering.
• Must have or be able to obtain Casino Employee Registration (CER) license upon hire.
• Good verbal and written communications skills required.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service skills preferred.
• Ability to stand extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales through engagement of customers.
• Greets and receives customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Works with coworkers and management to keep retail space clean and organized.
• Maintains product on sales floor and fills backstock during shift.
• Operates a point-of-sale register and processes payments (cash, cards, comps).
• Verifies customer identity when using comps as payment for items.
• Complies with Gaming Commission regulations and company policies.
• Delivers courteous and professional guest service to guests, vendors, and staff.
• Supports responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales through engagement of customers,
• Greets and receives customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Working with fellow co-workers and management to keep retail space clean and always organized.
• Maintain product on sales floor and filling backstock throughout assigned shift.
• Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of retail items.
• Verifying identity of customers when using comps as a form of payment for retail items.
• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
