Job summary

Landry's, LLC. in Atlantic City is seeking a Retail Sales Associate. This role assists customers in selecting products, drives sales through engagement and product knowledge, and maintains a welcoming environment.

You will greet guests, respond to questions, and support a clean, organized store space with accurate cash handling. The position requires a high school diploma, 1+ year retail experience including cashiering, and the ability to obtain a CER license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of retail experience including cashiering.
• Must have or be able to obtain Casino Employee Registration (CER) license upon hire.
• Good verbal and written communications skills required.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service skills preferred.
• Ability to stand extended periods of time.

Retail Sales Associate

Assists customers by helping them select products. Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner. Responds to customers' questions.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales through engagement of customers,
• Greets and receives customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Working with fellow co-workers and management to keep retail space clean and always organized.
• Maintain product on sales floor and filling backstock throughout assigned shift.
• Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of retail items.
• Verifying identity of customers when using comps as a form of payment for retail items.
• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
