Job summary

Navigator - Chart House in Atlantic City is the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a positive first impression. Greet guests, seat them, take orders, and manage to-go orders with precise POS handling.

Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential. Availability on weekdays, weekends, nights, mornings, and holidays is required; English literacy and basic math are necessary for this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a professional, pleasant and helpful manner and directs them to their seats promptly and present them with menus
• Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests
• Handle guest complaints or issues professionally or bring them to the manager when necessary
• Take to-go orders over the phone and in person
• Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of food and beverage charges
• Engage with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service
• Refill drinks and clear plates as needed during guest’s dining experience.
• Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating/dining flow.
• Performs opening and closing duties as directed by supervisor or manager
• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service
• Performs any other duties as assigned
