Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions seeks a Retail Team Leader to support retail merchandising operations at the branch or division level. The role includes relief merchandising during vacations and open routes while coaching team members for best-in-class execution.

Responsibilities include loading/delivering merchandise, executing promotions, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and compliance across routes. Benefits include 401(k), health coverage, and charity involvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of retail ops/merchandising or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Consent to drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach on route.
• Must be 21+ to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Retail Team Manager with daily retail route operations.
• Coach and train merchandisers to ensure company standards.
• Fill in for open or vacation routes to maintain service.
• Load, deliver, and merchandise beverages, snacks, coffee, and fresh foods.
• Verify orders and reconcile variances; maintain delivery/inventory records.
• Execute plan-o-grams, promotions, and initiatives as directed.
• Replenish, rotate, and display products using FIFO standards.
• Maintain freshness/quality of perishable items with proper refrigeration.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain vending/micro-market equipment and displays.
• Collect and reconcile cash/coin with accuracy.
• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance (filters, bulbs, etc.).
• Maintain company vehicles; daily inspections; comply with DOT policies.
• Support customer retention with professional communication.
