Job summary

Urban Edge is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations of a portfolio of retail centers. You will work closely with the Regional Director during training and gradually take on independent property management tasks, including budgeting, tenant relations, vendor coordination, and site inspections.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of property management experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in property management, admin, facilities, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and basic building systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties regularly and report findings to the Regional Director.
• Act as primary day-to-day contact for tenants, vendors, and partners.
• Assist in annual budgets and capital improvement planning.
• Support vendor management, including proposals and performance monitoring.
• Maintain records of operations, contracts, and tenant communications.
• Respond to tenant inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist with lease compliance, move-ins/outs, and landlord work coordination.
• Support ESG initiatives and sustainability programs at the property level.
• Prepare RFPs, purchase orders, and track project progress and expenses.
