Job summary

Urban Edge Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations and management of a portfolio of retail shopping centers. Reporting to the Regional Director of Property Management, you will gain hands-on experience in budgeting, vendor coordination, tenant relations, and property inspections, with increasing ownership over assigned assets.

The role requires strong communication, initiative, organization, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
1–3 years in property management or related field.
Basic understanding of building systems, maintenance, and vendor coordination.
Retail or commercial real estate exposure preferred.
Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular property inspections and report findings to the Regional Director.
Independently manage less complex properties within the region.
Exercise independent judgment in property operations and coordinate with tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
Assist in annual operating budgets and capex planning.
Support vendor management and monitor performance.
Maintain accurate records of property operations and tenant communications.
Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests promptly.
Collaborate with Leasing, Construction and Accounting teams.
