Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation is hiring an Assistant Manager in Knoxville, TN. You will partner with the General Manager to deliver a WOW guest experience, coach staff, and support shop operations. The long-term goal is to advance to a General Manager position.

Responsibilities include recruiting, training, cash handling, inventory control, and ensuring equipment is ready for service while maintaining high sanitation standards. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in food service or retail.
• Commitment to an equitable, unbiased culture.
• At least 2 years of management experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Travel 0–10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of customer‑focused employees through coaching and teamwork.
• Assist General Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, onboarding, and disputes.
• Maintain knowledge of products and promotions.
• Assist with in‑shop accounting: cash handling, reporting, deposits, inventory control.
• Ensure equipment and resources are operational (POS, production and retail gear).
• Maintain shop sanitation and cleanliness.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and nurture an inclusive culture.
