MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries in Kansas City is seeking an energetic Retail Processor for the Kansas City Store - N Oak team. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. You will handle donations, categorize goods, price items, and maintain store cleanliness while delivering friendly service to

Qualifications

• Effective communication with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, and trash.
• Inspects donated and purchased goods to distinguish quality for the sales floor, recycling, and online sales.
• Identifies and prices items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintains high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stocks, straightens, rotates, and maintains cleanliness of the store area.
• Provides positive customer service interactions to in-person customers and donors, and those over the phone.
• Maintains professional relationships with team members and leadership; works cross‑functionally to increase communication.
• Follows safe work practices; keeps aisles clear and hazard-free.
• Maintains professional appearance per dress code; safeguards assets and reports any incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.
