Job summary

Disney is seeking an Technical Support Specialist to maintain and repair POS hardware across retail locations. You will work with the POS supplier and our network team to resolve hardware and software issues affecting sales systems.

The role requires retail or POS experience, strong communication, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware remotely. Onsite support across multiple venues with opportunity to improve customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Retail or POS software experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software remotely.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Apple products (iPads) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform destroy/restoration on POS hardware and devices.
• Collaborate with POS supplier to fix bugs and issues.
• Troubleshoot connectivity for POS systems with network team.
• Maintain and secure PD devices and ensure network connections.
• Support backend stock control software issues.
• Set up new POS systems and devices as needed.
• Source new equipment to replace aging hardware.
• Oversee online operations and site updates for US sites.
• Coordinate with store managers to boost online sales.
