Job summary

Kroger in Conroe, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Leader to oversee all aspects of pharmacy practice, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, and lead a high-performing team.

As Pharmacy Leader you will manage budget, inventory, patient safety, and clinical services, while driving strategic growth and customer service excellence. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for professional growth within Kroger’s network.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Pharmacy and/or Pharm.D. from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy.
• 2+ years related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License must be in good standing.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model leadership for the pharmacy team.
• Develop and promote sales plans and initiatives for the division pharmacy department.
• Ensure all duties of a registered pharmacist comply with state laws and company policies.
• Direct the pharmacy team to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
• Monitor third-party profitability, handle rejections and audits promptly.
• Schedule staff to control labor costs while ensuring service excellence.
• Maintain pharmacy records required by law and company policies.
• Provide training, performance reviews and feedback to direct reports.
