Michaels is hiring for a Store role at our Alexandria, VA location. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You will also promote the Rewards program and enroll customers in Private Label Credit Cards. The role supports omnichannel processes, including BOPIS and Ship From Store, and involves truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and store recovery tasks to keep shelves in stock and

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Applicants in the U.S. must meet federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, returns and go backs.
• Support store in stock optimization and AD set duties.
• Assist shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; be a positive role model.
