Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks candidates for a Retail Personal Banker II. After a 4-8 week onboarding with rotations in Operations and Sales & Service, you will work to develop relationships, promote deposits, loans, and services, and provide exceptional customer care.

This is mainly a sales role with emphasis on consultative service and referral activity. Responsibilities include building customer profiles, leveraging Financial Needs Assessments, and collaborating with Partners to deliver holistic

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire customers.
• Must understand advanced math functions for credit/financial analysis.
• Professional appearance and communication; knowledge of Retail policies.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process to build customer profiles and identify needs.
• Promote a full range of banking products/services to meet customer needs.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities like presentations and community events.
• Refer customers to Business Partners to provide holistic financial solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals; manage risk and confidentiality.
