Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is recruiting for a Retail Personal Banker I, in a structured 9-week onboarding program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role focuses on consultative selling, opening new households, and deepening client relationships while handling teller tasks.

Successful candidates will complete a certification upon program completion and may advance within the Retail Personal Banker family. Base salary and benefits reflect Fifth Third's pay practices.

Qualifications

• College degree or transferrable work experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell.
• Must understand advanced math functions for credit/financial analysis.
• Must have NMLS registration at time of employment.
• Professional appearance and communication required.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales and needs assessment to profile customers and identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers for periodic financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
