Job summary

Belk in Zebulon, NC is hiring an HR Lead. This hourly role drives store objectives by leading hiring, training, and retention, and building effective weekly schedules to support sales and customer experience.

You will manage onboarding, engage associates, maintain data integrity, and coordinate scheduling and payroll processes. The position requires leadership experience in retail and a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive store objectives with ownership and accountability.
• Fill open positions and manage hiring processes.
• Lead onboarding and associate training.

• Maintain associate data integrity across systems.
• Prepare effective weekly schedules and review timecards.
• Use talent reports to guide leadership decisions.
• Provide guidance and resolve associate concerns.
• Handle daily cash office functions.
• Lead shortage control and asset protection.
