Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to create an outstanding customer experience by performing essential store operations before opening. This early-morning role requires teamwork, speed, and attention to detail as you handle pricing, signing, and merchandise placement across the floor.

You will unload shipments, replenish stock, and keep the backroom organized while supporting omnichannel initiatives (BOPIS, Ship from Store).

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Able to work in an early-morning (pre-opening) shift.
• Ability to operate in an omnichannel retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist customers.
• Execute pricing and signing on merchandise.
• Restock and replenish store merchandise.
• Receive and unload merchandise from trucks.
• Maintain backroom standards and organization.
• Support Omnichannel initiatives (BOPIS, Ship from Store, etc.).
• Implement merchandising plans as directed.
• Participate in training and learning activities.
