Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to create an outstanding customer experience by handling operations tasks in the store. This early morning role involves collaborating with a team to complete responsibilities before opening.

You will engage in customer service, merchandise handling, pricing and signing, replenishment, receiving, and omnichannel support while maintaining stockroom standards and learning new processes.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail experience required or preferred.
• Early morning schedule due to store opening
• Ability to maneuver store merchandise and assist customers

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service, helping customers and answering questions.
• Execute pricing changes and ensure accurate signage across the store.
• Restock and replenish merchandise to keep the floor well supplied.
• Receive and unload merchandise from shipments and prep in backroom.
• Maintain clean, safe backroom standards and stockroom organization.
• Support omnichannel initiatives including Buy Online Pickup in Store and ship-from-store.
• Assist with merchandising plans and execute them with accuracy and speed.
• Engage in a learning environment to absorb new information and processes.
