REI Co-op in Happy Valley, Oregon is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join the Store Management Team. You will open and close the store, supervise staff, and assist the Store Manager with a variety of operational and administrative tasks.

The role emphasizes training and coaching of sales and operations staff, ensuring the store is ready for customers, managing restocking, and upholding visual standards. Flexibility with hours including some evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of successful retail experience (Preferred)
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, direct and coach teammates
• Proven ability to understand a drive store profitability through employee engagement and customer experience
• Committed to providing excellent customer service
• Self-accountability and excellent problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise daily tasks
• Provide direction, supervision and coaching to sales staff
• Communicate restocking needs and execute visual standards
• Identify training opportunities and partner with Store Manager on strategy
