Job summary

REI Co-op in Vermont is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join the Store Management Team. You will help open and close the store, supervise daily tasks, and support the Store Manager with a range of operational and administrative duties.

You will train and coach sales staff, communicate restocking needs, ensure the store looks inviting, and contribute to a thriving customer experience. Prior retail experience and leadership skills are preferred; you will be part of a company that values

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of successful retail experience (Preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, direct and coach teammates.
• Proven ability to understand a drive store profitability through employee engagement and customer experience.
• Committed to providing excellent customer service.
• Self-accountability and excellent problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Trains and supports operations and sales staff.
• Provides daily direction, supervision and coaching to sales staff
• Opens and closes the store; communicates restocking needs and visual direction
• Identifies training opportunities at store level; partners with Store Manager to build training plan
• Additional duties as assigned
