Job summary

REI is seeking an Operations Specialist to keep merchandise stocked, organized, and available on the sales floor in Seattle. You will help ensure pricing accuracy and keep back stock organized in the warehouse while supporting upkeep of the store.

Responsibilities include stocking, pricing, sale prep, processing returns, assisting customers, and maintaining compliance with safety procedures. A flexible schedule and commitment to REI values are essential.

Qualifications

• Store retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to take feedback and adapt to business needs.
• Good judgment to solve problems and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Unload and distribute merchandise from replenishment shipments.
• Price, organize, hang, or distribute merchandise following stocking policies.
• Assist with sale preparation, process damaged or returned items.
• Support store pick-up, including receiving and processing products.
• Provide maintenance services to all areas of the store.
• Organize and maintain store warehouse, supplies, and fixtures.
• Assist customers with questions about products, memberships, and services.
• Follow loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
