Job summary

REI Co-op is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage inbound and outbound shipments, support replenishment flows, and assist customers in a dynamic warehouse environment. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration with store teams.

The successful candidate will contribute to efficient logistics, maintain organized stock areas, and ensure smooth operations during peak periods while upholding REI's commitment to excellent customer service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/retail/shipping experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
• Open to feedback and collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Receive store inventory, transfers, vendor and internal shipments.
• Process customer and product quality returns.
• Direct the flow of replenishment products to the sales floor or backstock.
• Perform recurring cycle counts and audits of targeted inventory.
• Assist customers with questions about products, memberships, and services.
• Follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
