Job summary

CarMax Brandywine is hiring a Business Operations Associate to support store operations, processing sales, auctions, and appraisals with accuracy and exceptional customer service.

In this role you will handle cash management, audit critical paperwork, and coordinate with multiple departments to keep processes flowing smoothly. You’ll train new associates and help maintain a clean, compliant work environment at our Maryland location.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication with customers and teams.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to confidentiality and integrity in line with CarMax policies.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through paperwork processes.
• Process and audit paperwork for retail and wholesale sales.
• Manage auction and appraisal transactions with proper documentation.
• Handle cash management tasks including deposits and security.
• Assist and mentor new associates and support store operations.
• Perform clerical duties and ensure data accuracy.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean work area.
