The Paper Store is seeking a Department Manager to lead a high-performing team in Lake Grove, NY. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service using the G.U.E.S.T. approach and achieving sales goals through effective staff training and operations management.

You will supervise payroll within budget, maintain visual standards, and ensure policy compliance while inspiring the team to provide a memorable shopping experience for every guest.

Formación

• Experience in specialty retail is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task while attending customers.
• Able to adapt to and lead change.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Ability to move on sales floor/stock room for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team leadership and collaboration.
• Detail-oriented problem solving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel to store openings/remodels.
