Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an Operations Manager to lead store-level execution, drive sales performance, and build leadership capability across departments. You will oversee daily operations on the sales floor, coach team members, manage inventory flow, labor planning, and merchandising execution, with opportunities to grow into broader leadership roles.

You'll partner with store leaders to set priorities, monitor KPIs, and develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Proven leadership experience in a retail or service environment.
Experience managing multiple departments and teams.
Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data.
Excellent communication and coaching skills.
Experience with inventory, payroll, and office software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
Knowledge of store safety and compliance practices.
Wamiliarity with firearms sales processes and ATF forms is a plus.
