Job summary

Guitar Center, through Music & Arts, seeks an Retail Operations Specialist to support 250+ locations with sales and lesson operations, projects, and initiatives. The role emphasizes clear communication with remote stores, leadership, and internal departments to ensure timely, high-quality execution.

The candidate will assist with testing retail processes, manage commissions, payroll-related systems, and drive effective communications and reporting across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 4 years experience substitutable.
• 2 years of relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide operations support via email and across 250+ locations.
• Diagnose issues reported by retail employees and troubleshoot transactions.
• Monitor store processes to ensure completion and compliance.
• Assist with testing of new retail processes and procedures.
• Manage and administer retail commissions, spiffs, contests, and payroll-related systems.
• Oversee retail communications, content development, task management and reporting.
