Job summary

The Guitar Center Company is seeking an Operations Associate to support in-store logistics, inventory controls, shipping and receiving gear, and merchandising to enhance the customer experience. You will help ensure product presentation aligns with planograms and promotional signage throughout the store.

You will perform daily tasks in a fast-paced retail environment, collaborate with teammates, and maintain accuracy in stock handling.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a loud retail environment.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle counting of inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP).
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.
