Job summary

SpartanNash in South Bend, IN is seeking a Store Operations Supervisor who directs and coordinates store activities in the absence of leadership to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities include monitoring policy adherence, running cashier and courtesy desk, guiding safety and cleaning, performing area inspections, handling time clock duties, keeping the store stocked and presentable, and supporting department managers as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend documents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor associate adherence to company policies.
• Able to run cashier register and courtesy desk and handle customer concerns.
• Understand and be familiar with store layout and safety equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and provide feedback to managers.
• May close store and maintain time clock.
• Maintain knowledge of product locations and assist customers.
• Keep store clean, stocked and compliant with PPE and safety guidelines.
