PetSmart is seeking a Retail Operations Lead to drive store performance through merchandising, inventory management, and exceptional pet care. You will oversee associates, open/close the store, and uphold our standards while delivering a safe, welcoming experience for customers and their pets.

This full-time role requires 2+ years of supervisor experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in store layout.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide associates in merchandise handling and presentation.
• Oversee store operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Execute merchandise strategies and onboarding of new product displays.
• Manage inventory levels, audits, stock replenishment, and markdowns.
• Operate POS systems and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Uphold store standards and Code of Ethics, fostering empowerment.
• Supervise as Leader on Duty when required and address associate concerns.
