Peoples Bank seeks an Operations Support Specialist to elevate operational consistency across the Retail Business Line, reduce recurring issues, and drive continuous improvement. You will resolve challenges and partner with business leaders to embed operational excellence in day-to-day practices.

The role requires 3–5 years in banking, an associate degree or equivalent, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in related banking field.
• Phone skills and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience (1–3 years) or strong contributor.
• Willingness to travel across footprint; valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Solve problems proactively and collaborate with partners to meet deliverables.
• Identify operational challenges and propose resolutions.
• Work cross-functionally to develop strategies to mitigate risk and monitor outcomes.
• Understand business processes, controls, and risk dynamics; educate impacted staff.
• Partner with Fraud and Compliance teams to identify risks and strengthen protections.
• Maintain a risk register with high-priority threats and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate and conduct monthly/quarterly Operations meetings for the Retail Bank.
• Reduce escalations through clear policies and training; align with policy owners.
• Maintain open communication with regional leaders about issues and remediation status.
• Collaborate with leaders to eliminate duplication and ensure regional consistency.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
